Northern College is seeking a Student Services Clerk in our Student Services department. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, along with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment and work with minimal supervision. Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite and other programs is a requirement.

Reporting to the Campus Manager, Kirkland Lake, the successful candidate is a front-line staff member dealing with clients in the Student Services area for phone, e-mail, and in-person enquiries and student registration.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide information relating to all programs & services, collecting fees, and registering clients;
  • Collect, input and code all full time and part-time activity in the Student Records System (SRS);
  • Liaise with sponsors and provide them with necessary breakdown of fees and other information;
  • Maintain campus specific student records and files; and
  • Processes financial transactions and documentation.

What you will need to be considered:

  • 2-year diploma in Office or Business Administration or related/relevant field of study; and
  • 2 years’ experience in a related field, preferably in an education setting.
