Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will
operate a variety of equipment in challenging environments, including bush work, remote access roads, and
active construction and mine sites.
Responsibilities
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including:
o Excavators (20–40+ ton)
o Bulldozers (D5–D6 class)
o Wheel loaders
o Articulated dump trucks (ADT)
o Motor graders (asset)
• Perform site preparation, clearing, stripping, and grading
• Construct and maintain access roads, drainage systems, and culverts
• Work in remote forest environments, including tight bush conditions and uneven terrain
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Follow all company safety policies and Ontario OH&S regulations
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and ground personne
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
• Experience in road building, earthworks, or forestry operations
• Ability to work in remote locations and varying weather conditions

• Strong understanding of safe operating procedures and hazard awareness
• Valid driver’s license (AZ/DZ considered an asset)
• Ability to work long hours and rotational shifts if required
