Cleaner

Part-Time (PT)

$25.00/hr. 10-15 hours per week

Location: Kirkland Lake

Mino M’shki-ki Indigenous Health Team is part of an Indigenous Hub operated by the Temiskaming Native Women’s Support Group. Our Health Team is mandated to take a culturally rooted approach informed by local Indigenous traditional knowledge, languages and cultural practices in its work with families and communities. Cleaner will be responsible for making sure the clinic looks clean, presentable, and inviting at all times.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Cleaning and maintaining offices, common areas, washrooms, and reception/waiting area.

·         Sweep and mop floors

·         Take out and properly dispose of garbage and recycling

·         Cleaning windows and glass doors

·         Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

·     Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods

·     WHMIS Certification is an asset

·     Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel and bend

·     Ability to lift, push and pull required load (up to 50lbs)

REQUIREMENTS:

·     Must be available to work evenings
